Who we are

We’re Chris and Emily — two people who believe healing is possible, especially when it’s rooted in nature, safety, and real human connection.

We know what it’s like to walk through loss, burnout, and big life changes. We’ve had our own seasons of struggle, and we’ve also been fortunate to find spaces — and people — that helped us heal. Nature has been a big part of that for both of us. The quiet of the woods, the warmth of a campfire, the feeling of breathing deeply without rushing — these simple things have helped us find our footing again.

Still Growing is our way of sharing that kind of space with others. We create simple, nature-based retreats for adults navigating grief, trauma, or burnout. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a certain background to be here. You just need to show up as you are.

We’re not about fixing people or rushing them to “get over it.” We’re about slowing down, feeling supported, and remembering you’re not alone.

This isn’t just work for us — it’s an extension of our own lives. We live this, and we believe deeply in it. We’re still learning, still healing, and still growing, too.
